TAKING YOUR LEADS FROM INTERESTED: TO SIGNED

I wouldn't quite go as far to say "talk is cheap", but  there definitely is no better way to bring a client from interested, to contract secured, than to show them beautiful images of your work and leave them drooling and dreaming of having a similar gorgeous space that they can call home.

You can't physically bring your clients around to every project you want them to see, but you can virtually.  And there is nothing more painful than having gorgeous work that took months and months of brain and muscle power to finalize, just to capture that with a #crappyiphonepic.  Close ups showing the complicated details and precision of your work, semi wide shots showing each space of the design and its purpose,  wide shots that bring all those spaces together and give a feel for the space and all of the thought that went into its layout, aerial shots that give a unique an exciting perspective- Having a balance of images makes the designs welcoming to the eye, and leads the viewer on a tour of your work.

I HAVE BEEN INCREDIBLY LUCKY TO SHOOT SOME OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PROJECTS IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.  BELOW ARE SOME OF MY RECENT FAVORITES

One of the most well known and consistent designers in the world, Amber Lewis takes every single space she touches from "ok" to "take me home".  This project was already captured by the incredibly talented Tessa Neustadt but I was lucky enough to be hired to capture the interaction between the interior and exterior design.  Amber and Ryan from Falling Waters Landscape, worked together to create this flawless property with not a square inch left unattended to.

AMBER INTERIORS

John Hayward is a top designer for Nativa Interiors.  If you aren't familiar with them- they have showrooms in multiple  locations including one in the heart of the Solana Beach Design district (Cedros).  The thing that is incredible about Nativa, is that not only do they source pieces from the best in the business; but when they can't find what a client or one of their designers wants, they have their own factory (like- a serious factory!) that can make ANYTHING.  Here, John designed an incredible multi-level waterfront property.  With natural light flooding the rooms, what he did to fill the spaces with seemingly invisible furniture is a thing of beauty.  It is a space that makes you feel clean and refreshed the second you enter.

If you want to make your home a space that allows you to thrive over Sunday morning coffees, a book and a blanket- look up Lori Bertran.  This project is just pure serene. Its smooth, soft, and creates a calming atmosphere, that surely helps the owners bring in more air with each breath.  Just don't spill that coffee on those handcrafted pieces!
